If you're in the early stages of planning, wedding shows are a great way to dip your toes into the wedding world (and get a few free glasses of Champagne). One such event our editors always love stopping by is the Wedding Salon, which is taking place next week at the Manhattan Center Studios in Midtown. You'll get to meet and chat with bridal salon owners, photographers, cake bakers, DJs and more, plus visit makeup artist Bobby Wells at the Koh Gen Do table for mini makeovers.

Wedding Hair and Makeup Ideas from the Runways

The fresh, polished makeup at Christos relied on properly prepped skin: models were given mini facials with Clarisonic's Mia Brush to exfoliate, brighten, and firm. The main event was a bold, pinky red lip—applying Koh Gen Do's RD03 lipstick to the center of the top and bottom lips, then blending it out with fingers achieved the stained effect.
